This service covers only the processing of files that are already available.
Recovering files from damaged or erased media falls under the data recovery rates above and is charged separately.

Diagnosis and intervention. The initial diagnosis is charged at €20 and deducted from the final invoice if the recovery succeeds. Workshop time already spent remains payable even if the data proves unrecoverable, as the condition of the media can only be established after opening and analysis.

Written quotation. Above €300, a written quotation is provided before any work begins. No work is undertaken without your approval.

Retention and confidentiality. Your recovered data remains available to you for 30 days, by secure download or on the storage device of your choice. After that period it is permanently deleted from our servers, including the disk image. Please make your own backup copies within that time. No data is accessed beyond what the recovery requires, and none is passed on to any third party.

This estimate is based on the total capacity of the media processed, not on the volume of files returned: recovery requires a full clone of the media, empty areas included, without which deleted files would be unrecoverable. Time spent on disassembly and technical access is charged separately at the “Weekday” or “Workshop” rate.

* First hour indivisible, then billing in 30-minute increments.

** Remote assistance: Billing starts upon launching the technical diagnosis or assistance (by phone or via TeamViewer). The first quarter hour is indivisible, then billing is done in 15-minute increments.

*** Travel: Costs are calculated for a one-way trip, from headquarters (Dippach) to the intervention address (e.g.: 10 km = 20€). Any additional travel made for the needs of the mission (material purchase, specific round trip) will be billed additionally on the same mileage basis.

Price commitment: in the interest of transparency and customer loyalty, our hourly labour rates (workshop, on-site intervention, remote assistance) have not increased since 2018.
